You'll find these cozy cabins located on Seven Devils' mountain to be the perfect retreat for a family vacation or a romantic retreat. Located at approximately 4500' elevation and just minutes from Hawk's Nest ski resort, you will enjoy panoramic winter views of Grandfather Mountain and as well as the nearby slopes right off the spacious deck. In the summer you will enjoy the lush canopy of mountain foliage and a gentle breeze which allows for a comfortable afternoon, even during the hottest months.
You may choose between two comfortable cabins located on adjacent lots. The cabins have identical layouts and offer a spacious, homey atmosphere in a private and natural setting. Seven Devils mountain is conveniently located between Banner Elk and Boone, North Carolina. There is access to three ski resorts within a 20 minute drive, all of which offer multiple slopes for all levels of proficiency as well as tubing and bunny slopes for the kids. A 20 minute drive to the west will bring you to the charming town of Blowing Rock which offers afternoon strolls through local boutiques, art galleries and a variety of dining opportunities.

The High Country is in Western North Carolina, in the Banner Elk/Boone/Blowing Rock area. This location is unique thanks its elevation, undulating terrain and mild temperatures in the warmer summer months. If you visit once, you'll want to come again.
The High Country offers everything needed to resuscitate the world-weary soul: dramatic long range mountain vistas, beautiful sunsets, summer hiking and winter skiing. We believe it represents the best of what western North Carolina has to offer.
The High Country is easy to get to from anywhere; residents of Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania are usually within a single day's drive. Not too near, and not too far.
Amenities
When you stay in our cabin, you need bring only your suitcase! The cabins are fully stocked with everything you will need for your getaway. In addition to a complete kitchen with all the silverware, plates, pots and pans you'll need for dining in, the beds will be ready and waiting with fresh linens. But we provide much more than the basics.
Color televisions with complete cable programming are available in both the great room and the master bathroom, along with many popular movies and books. A stereo with CD/cassette player, and an assortment of CDs, have also been provided. Need high-speed wireless internet access (DSL) just in case you can't resist checking your e-mail? We have that too.
We are pet-friendly (please check for restrictions) for those of you who just can't bear to leave home without your furry friends.
A large four-person jacuzzi is ready to soothe your sore muscles after a day on the slopes or the greens.
A large front deck is the perfect place to sit back and read a good book or snooze during a cool summer afternoon.
Nearby (< 1 mile) HawksNest ski slope in winter months provides skiing enjoyment.
